A Testimony from a Lutheran's Elders Wife

John ScotlandJohn Scotland was born and raised in Liverpool, England. The second of 12 children. At the age of nine, John was prayed for by an elderly lady named Mrs. Robb to be set apart for the work of the ministry. He was saved at the age of 18. In 1968 he received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. He married Jean in 1971, and they are blessed with four children.

During the 1970's John was actively involved in ministry. At one point, he & his wife bought a gospel tent and for three years held evangelistic & healing tent meetings, which resulted in his Father & 11 siblings coming to know the Lord.

In 1985 he obeyed the call to pastor a small church in the inner city of Liverpool, England. He pastored this church for 12 years. During this time he pioneered a work among the poor and unemployed youth of his city. As a result, John was presented before the Queen of England and Prince Charles to receive personal recognition for his work

In March 1994 John and Jean Scotland received a prophetic word from a prophet by the name of Bobby Connor. Bobby told them that there was a new anointing coming upon them. In November of that same year, John received an anointing of intoxication of joy and drunkenness in the Holy Spirit, which launched John and Jean into itinerate ministry in July of 1997.

In July of 2003, John was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel with Correll Missionary Ministries (CMM) out of Charlotte, North Carolina. And in June of 2005 he was granted a U.S. Religious-1 non-immigrant Visa to work with CMM as their Minister of the Gospel. John provides spiritual oversight to the CMM and gives them practical advice and guidance in the area of on going development.

Presently, John and Jean travel and preach extensively in the United States and in several other nations of the world, bringing joy, encouragement and spiritual refreshment to many.
