Rolland Baker said of John Scotland
Late in 1997 I took Heidi to a conference at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, and we encountered John Scotland one of the speakers.
John was in the Spirit, happy humorous, and made no pretense of impressing anyone with an artificially rigid presentation.
By the power of The Spirit he was able not only to lift the hearts of everyone listening, but could also share the heart of God within a few words than many others say in entire sermons.
Usually the more analytical and critical of the two of us, I told Heidi, “I am understanding John beautifully and drinking in all that the Lord is showing me through him”. I felt like a child, and wanted all the more.
Then the Spirit fell on Heidi, who spent the rest of the conference soaking in the Spirit, receiving visions and revelations that have sustained us through intense trials in Africa and given us fruit beyond anything we could ask or imagine.
John was a powerful catalyst in our lives, opening our eyes and hearts all the more to our God, who is so appealingly full of joy, sensitivity and creativity. We richly enjoy our friendship with him, and recommend his ministry.
