Hearing The Voice of the Prophets

The reason we miss a move of God is that we are unable to discern the voice of the prophets. In the book of Acts Chapter 13:27 The Apostle Paul makes the following statement to his countrymen. v.27. "For those who live in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they did not recognize Him or the voices of the Prophets, which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condeming Him... ( to be cont..)

God can provide for his children

I was reading in exodus today about the daily sacrifices the Israelites made, a lamb was offered twice a day, morning and evening. Dakes bible notes gives us a break down of what it would cost today in monetary terms to offer each day seven days a week, a lamb, and without blemish, top quality. along with the cost of wine etc. for the whole period this was in force which is estimated at 1,718 yrs. Our God is not STINGY.

That seems a funny title by which to introduce my father to you. But it is the only one i can think of that sums up how I feel! It is not until someone has died and is no longer around anymore that you can fully appreciate what they meant to you. My father died eighteen months ago, it is as if it was only yesterday that I got the telephone message to come down to the hospital right away, as your father will not last the day. I was cutting trees down with my son and a local handy man named Alan, a guy who has been a great help in assisting me with a lot of the practical chores around the house.
